Hi, Bigface, What you say is true. Axiom sells many satellite/subwoofer systems for rooms up to about 4,000 cu. ft. Bigger rooms need more drivers, so it’s better to go with Axiom M80 towers (six drivers in each tower). Bookshelf speaker even with a sub have power handling limits, whereas towers will produce a lot more output in really huge rooms–4000 to 8000 cu. ft.–Alan

Sorry, globalcitizen, I just forgot to include them in the video. We still make the Axiom M50s, and they are very nice speakers with excellent bass and a bit more “laid-back” midrange than the M60s.– Alan

Hi dllewel, and thanks. Watching this again, I overlooked our Axiom M50 tower–either that, or we didn’t have one readily available when I made the video. — Alan

I want to get a pair of towers for my bedroom =D with a nice huge sub. I like my speakers to be physically intimidating.

not a very good video…..because you dont need towers to get loud clean sound…and the mega purists say you dont need a sub……it just seems more like a speaker promotion video to me…….sorry no stars for you fella….

Good information about speaker size. I used to have your Axiom M3ti and it was a wonderful little speaker. Only reason I sold them was that I found them just a bit bright for my small room. The Usher S520 I have now seems a bit more neutral in the small room, although they are definitely less sensitive.

@SMERGHEED They were very good. I only sold them because they were a bit bright for a small room. If you check reviews, the Axiom speakers are very well regarded in their price range. They have some very good subwoofers. Their EP500, EP600 and EP800 are stunning.

700 watts per channel… overkill IMO

but like Mr. says… depends on the size of the room… and how deaf you are (or want to be)

If the woofer is smaller than “6.5″ then it’s not a LOUDspeaker!

@username1229 The point of speakers is not to be big, but to sound good. And Cerwin vega …sonically speaking, are crap.
